This film is set in New York City where Archer is the caretaker of Gramercy Park. An orphan named Terwilliger adopts him as his father. Terwilliger falls in love with a girl named Helen Raymond, but Harvey Livermore is also in love with her. Both of the boys serve in the war and Terwilliger ends up saving Harvey’s life. When they return home, Terwilliger marries Helen.
