Hobart Bosworth plays a bitter sea captain who is adamant on being ruthless with others since his wife left him sixteen years ago. During a voyage, he encounters a man and young girl who have been shipwrecked on an island for sixteen years. The captain helps them and soon discovers how his story is related to theirs.
