Buster Keaton plays “The Goat” who is mistaken for the dangerous criminal Dead Shot Dan. The local chief is determined to capture him, but Keaton is always using disguises to hide himself. He receives some help from Virginia who offers her to hide, but he soon realizes her father is the police chief desperate to find him.
