John and Alice Clayton take sail for Africa. After radicals abandon them, John and Alice die leaving their newborn Tarzan alone. Kala, a huge ape takes care of Tarzan. Tarzan later becomes the King of Apes, after he finds his father’s old knife. After being imprisoned by the Arabs for 10 years, Binns finds Tarzan and travels to England to let his relatives know that Tarzan is alive. Binns is the sailor who came to the Clayton’s rescue. After hearing this news, a scientist travels to Africa to see what Binns is really talking about. Tarzan is now a strong man who killed Kala and is received well by the black villagers with gifts and prayers. The scientist brings along his daughter, Jane who is captured by a native. Tarzan comes to her rescue.
