This silent film stars William S. Hart who plays a gambler. He gives up his career to move to the mountains with his little sister Alice, whose health is not the best. Hart is left with no money from the move, so decides to gamble again, but a dance hall girl named Coralie makes him lose all of his money. Desperate to make money, he holds up a stage as Black Jack kills the driver. He is sent to prison for the murder, but escapes to find Black Jack.
