Echo is an orphan raised by an Indian, Kahoma who is the foster father. She has a cowboy sweetheart named Big Bill, but leaves him to marry opera singer Roy Talbot. He takes her back East, but neglects her. Echo returns home and finds out Roy had been married before, so Kahoma kills Ray for his deceit . Big Bill and Echo make plans for their wedding.
