A struggling artist falls for a young woman whose parents feel he is not good enough for her. Feeling hopeless, he hires a hit man to kill him, as he is too afraid to kill himself. However, soon after he inherits a million dollars, his lover's parents now embrace him, and no one can find the hired killer to cancel the job.
