Pauline is a young woman who inherits a lot of money after her rich uncle passes away. She is not entitled to the inheritance until she is married, as well as being watched over by her uncle’s secretary who is now her guardian. The guardian and his associates do everything possible to make sure Pauline doesn’t ever see the money.
