George Brown (John Bunny) is a man who loves to play poker—usually losing.  When he promises his wife he’ll stop playing he begins going to weekly “club meetings”, deceiving his wife with the help of one of his friends.  But Mrs. Brown (Flora Finch) gets wise, and has a few tricks up her sleeve too, and with the help of her cousin she plots to teach George a lesson and cure him of his poker playing habit.
