XANDER BERKELEY BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Xander Berkeley was born on December 16th, 1955 in Brooklyn, New York with the middle name Harper.  He developed an interest in acting while in school and would participate in a number of school productions.
 
When he turned sixteen he joined a theater group in his area and began to develop an even more profound interest in acting.  After high school he went on to study at Hampshire College and also the university of Massachusetts where he continued to perform in the school stage plays.
 
After college, Berkley went on to study the craft with such coaches as Lee Strasberg at the Actor's Studio and the Royal Academy of Arts.  He continued adding more amateur stage credits such as in the production, "Early Dark".
 
Berkley was soon encouraged to travel to Hollywood and pursue a career in the film industry.  By the early 80's he was appearing on such films as, "Mommie Dearest" (1981) starring Faye Dunaway and Steve Forrest, "Sid and Nancy" (1986), "Walker" (1987) starring Ed Harris, "The Rookie" (1990) starring Charlie Sheen, Clint Eastwood, Raul Julia, Sonia Braga, Lara Flynn Boyle and Tom Skerritt, "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" (1991) starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Robert Patrick and Edward Furlong, "Leaving Las Vegas" (1995) starring Nicolas Cage and Elisabeth Shue, "Apollo 13" (1995) starring Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, Bill Paxton, Gary Sinise, Kathleen Quinlan and Ed Harris, "Gattaca" (1997), "Air Force One" (1997) starring Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, and Glenn Close, William H. Macy, Dean Stockwell and Paul Guilfoyle and "Amistad" (1997) also starring Morgan Freeman, Matthew McConaughey and Anthony Hopkins.
 
Along with his many film roles he also added a variety of television series to his resume such as, "M*A*S*H", "The A-Team", "Miami Vice", "Moonlighting", "24", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "Nikita" and "Inside" and numerous others.
 
He has also worked on a number of voice over projects for such animated series as, "Aaahh!!! Real Monsters", "Teen Titans", "The Spectacular Spider-Man" and "Gargoyles". 
 
More recently he has added the films, "Seraphim Falls" (2006), "Out There" (2006), "Cook County" (2009), "Tales of Everyday Magic" (2012), "Live at the Foxes Den" (2012) and soon to release, "Small Time" (2013).  
 
Xander Berkley has married only once to Sarah Clarke in 2002 and they have two children and remain married today.
