VICTOR MILLAN BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Victor Millan was born on August 1st, 1920 in California with the birth name Joseph Brown.  He served United States Army Air Corps as a sergeant during World War II stationed in China, India and Burma. He became known for mostly portraying character roles on stage, television as well as in films during the 50's.  He worked for 3 decades in the industry and appeared in over eighty films and television shows.

His career in the entertainment industry began in 1952 when he appeared on the film, "The Ring" starring Gerald Mohr, Lalo Rios, Rita Moreno and Jack Elam.  Soon he began also adding to his credits numerous television appearances such as, "The Adventures of Kit Carson", "Hopalong Cassidy", "Ramar of the Jungle" starring Jon Hall and Ray Montgomery, "Fireside Theatre", "Buffalo Bill Jr.", "Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok", "Stage 7", "Telephone Time", "You Are There" and "Annie Oakley".

Along with his numerous television appearances, Millan also continued to add feature film roles to his resume such as, "Giant" (1956) starring Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor, James Dean, Chill Wills, Jane Withers, Mercedes McCambridge, Sal Mineo, Elsa Cardenas, Earl Holliman, Rod Taylor, Carroll Baker and Dennis Hopper "Walk the Proud Land" (1956) starring Audie Murphy, Pat Crowley and Anne Bancroft, Charles Drake, Morris Ankrum, Addison Richards and Jay Silverheels, "Touch of Evil" (1958) starring alongside Orson Welles, Charlton Heston, Janet Leigh, Joseph Calleia, Akim Tamiroff, Marlene Dietrich, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Ray Collins, Mercedes McCambridge, Joseph Cotten, Keenan Wynn, Joanna Cook Moore, Mort Mills, Joi Lansing and Dennis Weaver, "Terror in a Texas Town" (1958) co-starring Sterling Hayden, Sebastian Cabot, Nedrick Young and Carol Kelly, "The FBI Story" (1959) starring James Stewart, Vera Miles, Murray Hamilton, Larry Pennell and Nick Adams and "The Pink Jungle" (1968) starring James Garner, George Kennedy, Eva Renzi, Nigel Green and Michael Ansara.

The remainder of his career was mostly focused on television work with his more recent roles being on, "Bonanza", "The Adventures of Jim Bowie", "Ironside", "Medical Story", "Police Story", "Knight Rider", "Sheriff of Cochise"  and most recent was in 1986 on, "The Ed Begley Jr. Show".  He then retired from the industry and taught the art of drama at Santa Monica college in California.  Victor Millan passed away on April 3rd, 2009 at the age of eighty eight in Santa Monica, California.
