TED DE CORSIA BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Ted de Corsia was born on September 29th, 1905 in Brooklyn, New York with the birth name Edward Gildea De Corsia. 
 
His career in acting first began as a stage actor touring with a number of different companies as well as performing on the radio.  He voiced a number of radio shows such as, "The March of Time", "The Shadow" and "Mike Hammer".  
 
Later in his career, he became involved in the film industry.  His film debut was in, "The Lady from Shanghai" (1947) starring Rita Hayworth.  Other film roles soon followed such as, "The Named City" (1948), "The Big Combo" (1955), "The Killing" (1956), "Baby Face Nelson" (1956) and "Slightly Scarlet" (1956).
 
He is most remembered for his role in the film, "The Enforcer" (1951).  Along with his film roles, de Corsia was also a television actor making appearances on such shows as, "The Twilight Zone", "Daniel Boone", "Rawhide", "Lawman", "I Dream of Jeanie", "Perry Mason" and "Get Smart". 
 
His final film role was in 1972 in, "The Outside Man".  One year later, Corsia passed away at the age of sixty nine in Encino, California on April 11th, 1973 from natural causes.  His remains were donated to medical science after his passing.
