TANYA ROBERTS BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Tanya Roberts was born on October 15th, 1955 in the Bronx, New York with the birth name Victoria Leigh Blum.  Her parents divorced when she was a teenager and at the age of fifteen she left high school early and actually got married and hitchhiked around the country until her mother-in-law got the marriage annulled.
 
She returned to New York and began studying acting under Lee Strasberg.  She also worked as a dance instructor and model to support herself.  It did not take her too long to find work as a stage actress in a number of off-Broadway productions as well as some commercial work for products such as Ultra Brite, Cool Ray Sunglasses and Clairol.
 
After relocating to Los Angeles, California with her husband, Barry Roberts whom she married in 1974 she began finding more work in television.  She soon appeared on such television movies as, "Pleasure Cove" (1979), "Zuma Beach" (1978) and "Waikiki" (1980).  Some of her early on acting experiences were in the film, "Forced entry" (1975) and in 1980 on the television series, "Charlie's Angels"".  
 
As her career progressed she was seen in such features as, "The Beastmaster" (1982), "Sheena: Queen of the Jungle" (1984), "A View to Kill" (1985), "Inner Sanctum" (1991) and on the television series, "Hot Line" (1994).
 
Roberts continues to work in the industry with her latest appearances on the television series, "That 70's Show" (1998-2006) and "Barbershop" (2005).  In 2008 she also wrote the book, "The Q Guide to Charlie's Angels".
