SUSAN GEORGE BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Susan George was born on July 26th, 1950 in London, England with the middle name Melody. Her career as an actress began with receiving training at the Stage School and Corona Theatre School and began acting when she was only four years old.

George has appeared on numerous television series and films throughout her career in he industry. Some of her more well known roles were in, "The Looking Glass War" (1969), "Lola" (1970), "Straw Dogs" (1971), "Fright" (1971), "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry" (1974), "Out of Season" (1975), "Tomorrow Never Comes" (1978) and "Kiss My Grits" (1982).

Along with film she has worked on the television series, "The Persuaders", "The Human Jungle", "Weavers Green", "Doctor in the House", "The Root of All Evil?", "Tales of the Unexpected", "Fox Mystery Theater", "Hotel", "The Castle of Adventure", "Cluedo", "Stay Lucky" and "East Enders".

Most recently she has appeared on the films, "In Your Dreams" (2008), "City of Life" (2009) and "1066" (2012).

Susan has also worked on the other side of the industry as a producer for such projects as the movie, "Stealing Heaven" (1988), "Djavolji raj" (1989) and the television movie, "The House That Mary Bought" (1995).

George was chosen by Empire magazine as one of the 100 Sexiest Stars in film history in 1995. In addition to her acting career she is also an Arabian horse breeder.

Susan George married only one time to Simon MacCorkindale in 1984 and they remained together until he passed away in 2010. She has no children.
