SUE ANE LANGDON BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Sue Ane Langdon was born on March 8th, 1936 in Paterson, New Jersey with the birth name Sue Lookhoff, born to Albert G. Lookhoff and Grace Wallace. She was raised by her mother after her father passed away when she was just two years old. She lived in such cities as New York, Michigan, West Virginia, Texas, Montana and Oregon. Her mother made a living as a singer and from a young age, she developed an interest in the world of entertainment.
Langdon began gaining experience in acting as a child participating in a number of school and local productions. After high school, she went on to study at North Texas State and later transferred to the University of Idaho.
Upon finishing college, she decided to pursue a full time career as an actress. She relocated to New York City and found work as a singer with the Radio City Music Hall. Soon, Langdon was also working on Broadway appearing in a variety of musicals such as, "The Apple Tree".
She even had the chance to travel to Las Vegas, Nevada and joined a comedy act which soon opened more doors for her as an actress. By the late 1950's she began appearing in a number of television series such as, "Lux Playhouse", "Mike Hammer" and "Bourbon Street Beat".

She continued to work as an actress with some of her more well known television roles being on, "Checkmate", "The Dick Van Dyke Show", "Mannix", "Bonanza", "Shotgun Slade", "Perry Mason", "Gunsmoke", "The Wild Wild West", "Three's Company", "Happy Days", "The Love Boat", "The Andy Griffith Show", "Hart to Hart" and the CBS television series, "Arnie", a role for which she won a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Sue Ane Langdon has married only once to Jack Emrek, a film, stage and television director, in 1959 and they remained together until he passed away in 2010. Her last acting role was in 1991 on the television soap opera, "General Hospital". She is now retired from the industry and remains living in Los Angeles, California.
