STEVE HOLLAND BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Steve Holland was born on January 8th, 1925 in Washington, USA. He worked as a model and actor and is most well known for playing the character of Flash Gordon in the 1954 television series, "Flash Gordon". The show ran for a total of thirty nine episodes and he later made a cameo performance of the same character in the film, "The Court Martial of Billy Mitchell" (1953).
Holland also had a decent career working as a model such as being the model for the cover of a paper back book portraying the character Doc Savage. His facial features were also used in the 1970's reprint of the original pulp, "The Avenger" novels.
His other acting appearances include working on the television version of "Suspense" (1951) and in 1964 on the television series "Brennar".
Steve Holland passed away at the age of seventy two in Humboldt County, California on May 10th, 1997.
