SKIP HOMEIER BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Skip Homeier was born on October 5th, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois with the birth name George Vincent Homeier.  At the young age of six he was already getting involved in the entertainment industry working on the radio show and long running soap opera "Portia Faces Life".  He was also cast as a regular on the show, "Let's Pretend".  He then began portraying the character Emil in the Broadway play, "Tomorrow the World" (1943-1944).

By the age of fourteen he recreated this role and had his film debut in, "Tomorrow, the World" (1944).  His career continued through his teens and into adulthood. Although he never reached a major level of success he was able to transition easily from child actor to adult actor.  He mostly made appearances in westerns and crime drama films such as, "Halls of Montezuma" (1950), "Cry Vengeance" (1954), "Stranger at My Door" (1956), "The Tall" (1957), "Comanche Station" (1960) starring Randolph Scott and "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" (1966).  As he got older, he turned his focus more towards television work.

Some of his television appearances included roles on, "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" (1956-1958), "Climax!" (1956-1958), "Justice" (1954), "Zane Grey Theatre" (1957), "Wanted Dead or Alive" (1958) starring Steve McQueen, "The Rifleman", (1960) starring Chuck Connors, Johnny Crawford and Paul Fix, "The Loretta Young Show" (1960), "Suspense" (1964), "Death Valley Days" (1964-1965), "The Interns" (1970-1971) and was a guest star in the Star Trek television series, "Patterns of Force" and "The Way to Eden".

He married only once in 1963 to Della Sharman and he remains married still today.
