SHEREE J. WILSON BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Sheree J. Wilson was born on December 12th, 1958 in Rochester, Minnesota with the birth name Sheree Julienne Wilson. Her parents both worked as IBM executives and when she was nine years old, her family relocated to Colorado.
After graduating from high school, she enrolled at the University of Colorado where she earned a fashion merchandising as well as business degree.
Wilson then began working as a fashion designer on a variety of shoots and during one particular shoot a photographer introduced her with a modeling agent from New York who asked to sign her to a modeling contract right away.
Sheree took the big step and re-located to New York City and began appearing in a number of print advertisements as well as commercials for such products as, Maybelline, Sea Breeze and Clairol among others.
Wilson remained living in New York and working as a model fulltime before being given the chance to further her career and make the move West to see if a career as an actress was in her future.
It did not take long before she was appearing on such films as, "Crimewave" (1985) co-starring Reed Birney, Paul L. Smith, Louise Lasser, Brion James and Bruce Campbell, "Fraternity Vacation" (1985) starring Stephen Geoffreys, Tim Robbins, Leigh McCloskey and Cameron Dye and such television series as, "Cover Up" starring Jennifer O'Neill, Jon-Erik Hexum, Antony Hamilton and Richard Anderson and "Our Family Honor" starring Eli Wallach, Barbara Stuart, Michael Woods, Tom Mason, Michael Madsen, Daphne Ashbrook, Ray Liotta and Kenneth McMillan.
Her most well known role soon followed in 1986, Wilson was chosen to portray April Stevens on the hit television series, "Dallas", a role which she remained in for almost five seasons. For her portrayal of this character, Wilson earned the, "Soap Opera Digest Award" for Best Death Scene.
Once this series came to an end another huge opportunity came her way when she was offered a recurring role on the series, "Walker, Texas Ranger" portraying, Alexandra 'Alex' Cahill and starring alongside Chuck Norris, Clarence Gilyard, Noble Willingham and Floyd Westerman. She played this role from 1993 till 2001.
Other roles she has since added to her resume include the films, "Birdie and Bogey" (2004) also starring Janine Turner, Mike Norris, Carey Scott and Amanda Alch, "Killing Down" (2006) starring with Matthew Tompkins and Natalie Raitano, "The Gundown" (2011) starring Peter Coyote and Andrew W. Walker and the television series, "Pink" and "Leaving Bliss".
Soon to release will be her most recent roles in the upcoming films, "Easy Rider: The Ride Back" (2013) with Chris Engen and Jeff Fahey and "Saving Santa" (2012).
Sheree J. Wilson has married only once in 1996 to Paul DeRobbio and they had two sons together before the marriage came to an end in 2004. She has not re-married and currently resides in Marina Del Rey, California.
