ROBERT FOXWORTH BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Robert Foxworth was born on November 1st, 1941 in Houston, Texas with the middle name Heath, born to Ema Beth and John Howard Foxworth. His career in acting began when he was a teenager doing an apprenticeship at Houston's Alley Theatre. After graduating from Lamar High School in Houston, Texas he went on to study at Carnegie Tech and Stanford University.
During the late 1960's he worked in Washington D.C. at the Arena Theatre gaining some stage experience before making his Broadway debut in 1969 in a production of, "Henry V".
The majority of his acting was working as a television actor appearing on such series as, "Falcon Crest", "Men at Law", "Six Feet Under", "Star Trek: Enterprise", "Babylon 5", "Stargate SG-1", "The Storefront Lawyers", "Insight", "Cannon", "Barnaby Jones", "The West Wing" and "Law & Order".
He added just a couple film credits to his resume, appearing in such features as, "The Astral Factor" (1976), "Airport '77" (1977) starring James Stewart, Jack Lemmon, Lee Grant, Brenda Vaccaro, Christopher Lee, George Kennedy, Joseph Cotten and Olivia de Havilland, "The Black Marble" (1980) starring with Paula Prentiss, "Beneath Loch Ness" (2002), "Kiss the Bride" (2007) starring Tori Spelling and Philipp Karner and he also did voice over work in 2007 for "The Transformers" film.
Robert Foxworth has married three times during his lifetime, first to Marilyn McCormick in 1964 and they had two children together before the marriage came to an end in 1974. He then married actress Elizabeth Montgomery in 1993 and they were only together two years before she passed away. His third wife is Stacey Thomas and they remain together today and own a home in Encinitas, California.
