Nigel's final film role was in 1954 in "World for Ransom" and he was married only one time to British actress, Violet Campbell on May 21st, 1921 and they had two children, Jennifer and Pauline.  The couple remained married until he passed away on October 8th, 1953 in Santa Monica, California after suffering from a heart attack.
