NANCY SINATRA BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Nancy Sinatra is the daughter of the famous, Frank Sinatra and Nancy Barbato. She was born on June 8th, 1940 in Jersey City, New Jersey with the birth name Nancy Sandra Sinatra. By 1959, she was already appearing on television with her father as well as Elvis Presley.
As she got older her entertainment career progressed as a singer as well as an actress. Some of her film roles were in, "For Those Who Think Young" (1964), "Get Yourself a College Girl" (1964), "The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini" (1966), "The Wild Angels" (1966) with Peter Fonda and "Speedway" (1968) starring alongside Elvis Presley.
Along with appearing in films, Sinatra also appeared on a number of television shows such as, "The Ed Sullivan Show", "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour", "The Man from U.N.C.L.E", "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In" and "The Virginian".
She also had some early on hit songs such as, 'These Boots are Made for Walking' and 'Somethin Stupid' which was a duet she recorded with her father. As her career progressed she continued recording music and was working with other famous musicians such as, Bob Dylan, Smokey Robinson, Lynsey De Paul and Roy Wood. In total, she had twenty four billboard hits. Some of her more famous ones were, "You Only Live Twice", "Love Eyes", "Did You Ever?", "Kinky Love" and "Hook and Ladder".
To promote her album and increase her popularity she posed for Playboy in a May 1995 issue at the age of fifty four and also continued to make numerous television appearances to help promote her new album, "One More Time".
Nancy Sinatra was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording and now hosts a weekly show on Sirius Satellite Radio - Siriusly Sinatra where she shares her personal insights about her father.
She has married twice throughout her lifetime. Her first marriage was to Tommy Sands in 1960 and they were together for five years. She then married Hugh Lambert in 1970 and they had two children together and remained married until he passed away on August 18th, 1985.
