Marion Ross was born on October 25th, 1928 in Albert Lea, Minnesota, born with the birth name Marian Ross to Ellen Hamilton and Gordon Ross.  She is most remembered for her role on the highly popular television sitcom, "Happy Days".  As a young girl, she dreamed of pursuing a career as an actress.

During her teenage years, her family relocated to San Diego, California and after graduating from Point Loma High School, Ross went on to study drama at San Diego State University and earned a drama degree in 1950.

Already with some stage experience from her college years, she began performing around San Diego and even appeared on at the Old Globe Theatre.  A College professor helped her become involved with Hollywood and Paramount Studio's soon signed Ross to a contract.

Finally, she had been given the chance to prove herself to Hollywood and continued making appearances on other television series such as, "The Love Boat", "MacGyver", "Burke's Law" and "Night Court".

Along with her television success came more film work.  The highly successful Academy Award winning film, "Terms of Endearment" (1983) starring Shirley MacLaine, Debra Winger, Danny DeVito, Jeff Daniels, John Lithgow, David Wohl, Mary Kay Place and Jack Nicholson, "Grand Theft Auto" (1977) Ron Howard's directorial debut and features himself as Sam Freeman and Nancy Morgan as Paula Powers with Paul Linke, Peter Isacksen, Don Steele, Clint Howard, Elizabeth Rogers, Jack Perkins, Garry Marshall, Paul Bartel, Rance Howard, Barry Cahill and Leo Rossi, "Music Within" (2007) starring Ron Livingston, Melissa George, Hector Elizondo, Rebecca De Mornay, Leslie Nielsen, Ridge Canipe, Paul Michael and Yul Vazquez and Michael Sheen and "Superhero Movie" (2008) starring Drake Bell, Sara Paxton, Christopher McDonald, Pamela Anderson, Regina Hall, Robert Joy, Brent Spiner, Kevin Hart, Jeffrey Tambor, Ryan Hansen, Charlene Tilton and Leslie Nielsen.
