LEE AAKER BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Lee Aaker was born September 25, 1943 in Inglewood, California, with the birth name Lee William Aaker. His mother owned a dance studio and so from a very young age he was involved in the entertainment industry, appearing in a number of films uncredited.
Some of his earlier credited film roles were in "The Greatest Show on Earth" (1952), "High Noon" (1952) with Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly, "Full House" (1952), "Atomic City" (1952), "Hondo" (1953) with John Wayne, "Jeopardy" (1953), "Arena" (1953) and "Ricochet Romance" (1954).
He is most well known for his role in "The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin" series (1954), however, when the series came to an end, Aaker was unable to remain in the industry as an adult actor. He did however move into the other side of the business working as a assistant producer to Herbert B. Leonard on the "Route 66" series (1960).
Aaker then retired from the industry completely and pursued a career as a carpenter. He married only once, to Sharon Ann Hamilton in 1969, and they divorced in 1971. They did not have children, and Lee never remarried.
He currently lives in Mammoth Lakes, California, and for many years worked as a special needs ski instructor. He did make a return back to the spotlight when he was honored with a Golden Boot Award as Kids of the West in 2005.
