Kate Hudson ACTOR

Kate Hudson was born on April 19th, 1979 in Los Angeles, California with the birth name Kate Garry Hudson, born to parents, actress, Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson who was also involved in the entertainment industry as an actor, comedian and musician.
At the young age of eight months her parents divorced and she moved to Colorado with her mother, brother, Oliver and her mother's new boyfriend, actor Kurt Russell.  After graduating from Crossroads, a college preparatory school in Santa Monica, she enrolled at New York University and then later chose to drop out of college and focus on a career in acting.
Her interest in entertainment began at a young age taking dancing and singing lessons.  Also, growing up in a family already involved in the industry helped increase her interest to pursue a career in the same direction.  Her brother is also an actor and aspiring director.
She began with making her first film debut on, "Desert Blue" (1998) followed by roles in such films as, "200 Cigarettes" (1999) and "Gossip" (2000).  Then in 2000 she received her first Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress and won a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress-Motion Picture for her role in the film, "Almost Famous".
Finally Hudson was making a name for herself in the industry without relying on the fact of how famous her parents were.  She began appearing on the big screen in more films such as, "The Four Feathers" (2002), "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" (2003), "Alex and Emma" (2003), "Raising Helen" (2004), "The Skeleton Key" (2005), "You, Me and Dupree" (2006), "Fool's Gold" (2008), "My Best Friend's Girl" (2008) and "Bride Wars" (2009).
In addition to her career as an actress, Hudson has also had the chance to work on the other side of the industry as a director staring her own production company called, "Cosmic Entertainment, with the debut of the short film, "Cutlass" (2007).  To date this is the only project she has served as writer, director and producer on.
Added to her resume more recently have been roles in the films, "Nine" (2009), "The Killer Inside Me" (2010), "Something Borrowed" (2011) and soon to release in 2013, "The Reluctant Fundamentalist", "Everly" and "Me and My Shadow".
Kate Hudson has married twice throughout her lifetime, first to Chris Robinson in 2000 and after having one child they ended this marriage in 2007.  She is now married to Mathew Bellamy and together they also have one child and reside part time in London and part time in the United States.
