JOSH HARTNETT BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Josh Hartnett was born on July 21st, 1978 in San Francisco, California with the birth name Joshua Daniel Hartnett. After he earned his high school diploma from South High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota he went on to study at Purchase College State University of New York, however he soon began to get involved with acting.
Some of his early roles included a role on the television series, "Cracker: Mind Over Murder" (1997) which followed with roles in the films, "Halloween H20: 20 Years Later" (1998) co-starring Janet Leigh, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michelle Williams, LL Cool J and Adam Arkin, "The Faculty" (1998) also starring Elijah Wood, Shawn Hatosy, Jordana Brewster, Clea DuVall, Laura Harris, Robert Patrick, Bebe Neuwirth, Piper Laurie, Famke Janssen, Usher Raymond, Salma Hayek and Jon Stewart and "The Virgin Suicides" (1999) starring James Woods, Kathleen Turner, Kirsten Dunst, A. J. Cook and Danny DeVito.
He has now created quite a name for himself in the industry and has been featured in such successful films as, "Pearl Harbor" (2001) featuring ensemble cast including Ben Affleck, Alec Baldwin, Jon Voight, Kate Beckinsale, Cuba Gooding Jr., Dan Aykroyd, Colm Feore, Tom Sizemore, Jaime King and Jennifer Garner, "Black Hawk Down" (2001) starring alongside Eric Bana, Ewan McGregor, Tom Sizemore, William Fichtner, Orlando Bloom and Sam Shepard among many others, "40 Days and 40 Nights" (2002) co-starring Shannyn Sossamon, Paulo Costanzo, Vinessa Shaw, Keegan Connor Tracy and Maggie Gyllenhaal, "30 Days of Night" (2007) with Melissa George and Danny Huston, "Resurrecting the Champ" (2007) starring with Samuel L. Jackson, Alan Alda, Kathryn Morris, Peter Coyote and Teri Hatcher and "Stuck Between Stations" (2011) with Zoe Lister Jones, Sam Rosen and Michael Imperioli.
He has also appeared in such stage productions as, "Rain Man" at the Apollo Theatre in 2008. In addition to his career as a working actor he also started his own production company called, Roulette Entertainment. His most recent role was in the film, "Singularity" (2012) with Neve Campbell.
