JAMES WESTERFIELD BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
 
James Westerfield was born on March 22nd, 1913 in Nashville, Tennessee with the birth name James A. Westerfield.  Over the course of his career as an actor, he appeared in over fifty films.

Some of his more well known roles included, "The Magnificent Ambersons" (1942) Joseph Cotten, Dolores Costello, Anne Baxter, Tim Holt, Agnes Moorehead and Ray Collins with Orson Welles narrating, "On the Waterfront" (1954) starring Marlon Brando, Karl Malden, Lee J. In addition to his numerous successful film roles, Westerfield also made quite a name for himself as a television actor appearing in such series as, "Hazel", "The Rifleman", "The Lone Ranger", "Wagon Train", "Climax!", "The Andy Griffith Show", "Gunsmoke", "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", "The Adventures of Jim Bowie", "Zane Grey Theatre", "Space Circus", "Bonanza", "Lassie", "Rawhide", "Daniel Boone", "Bat Masterson", "The Wild, Wild West", "Man With a Camera" and "Bewitched".

James Westerfield married only once to Alice G. Fay in 1962 and they remained together until he passed away on September 20th, 1971 in Woodland Hills, California after suffering from a heart attack at the age of fifty eight.
