HEATHER LOCKLEAR BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Heather Locklear was born on September 25th, 1961 in Westwood, California with the middle name Deen, born to parents, William Robert and Diane Locklear. She is the youngest born of four children total and she was raised with her siblings in Thousand Oaks, California. After graduating from Newbury Park High School she enrolled at the University of California in Los Angeles and began doing some modeling on the side. Prior to completing her college degree, she decided to drop out of college and pursue a career in entertainment.
It did not take long for Locklear to break into acting, appearing with small roles on such television programs as, "Eight is Enough", "CHiPs" and "240-Robert".
She soon teamed up with Aaron Spelling and became most well known for her roles on the television series, "T.J. Hooker", "Dynasty", "Melrose Place" and "Spin City, first with co-star Michael J. Fox and later, Charlie Sheen. For her role on this sitcom, Locklear earned two Golden Globe Award nominations for Best Actress in a Television Series-Comedy.
Over the course of her career, Locklear has appeared in a total of eight television series that were made by Spelling. Other credits include, "The Love Boat", "Fantasy Island" and "Hotel".
Heather has also made guest appearances on such television sitcoms as, "Two and a Half Men", "Boston Legal", "Hannah Montana" and "Rules of Engagement". In 2009, CW brought back a new version of, "Melrose Place" which Locklear starred in just about every episode, until the show was canceled after just one season.
Some of her latest roles have been on the television movie, "He Loves Me" (2011) and "The Assistants" (2011).
She has married twice throughout her lifetime, first to Tommy Lee in 1986 and later this marriage ended in divorce in 1993. Her second time to marry was Richie Sambora in 1994 and together they had one child before this marriage also came to an end in 2007.
Locklear was named one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People two different times and she was also placed 25 on TV Guide & Entertainment Weekly's, "100 Greatest TV Icons" list.
