Guy Stockwell ACTOR

Guy Stockwell was born on November 16th, 1934 in Hollywood, California.  His younger brother, Dean Stockwell also pursued a career in the acting industry and was the better known brother of the two, however Guy still had a decent career and an impressive resume during his time in Hollywood.
He added over thirty films to his resume and over 200 television appearances.  Guy was born to parents, Harry Stockwell, a professional singer and Nina Olivette a vaudeville performer.  When both Guy and his brother were just young boys, their mother sent them to audition for the Broadway show titled, "The Innocent Voyage" (1943) for which both boys received a part in the production.  His brother, Dean went on to work in the film industry with MGM.  Guy, on the other hand did not have it so easy as a child actor and it was not until he became an adult, that he too, was able to pursue a career as a working actor.
Guy went on to complete high school and enrolled at the University of California earning a degree in psychology and philosophy.  As an adult he began acting in the television series, "Adventures in Paradise" (1959) followed by roles in, "The War Lord" (1965), "Tobruk" (1967), "Blindfold" (1965), "Beau Geste" (1966), "The King Pirate" (1967), "The Plainsman" (1966), "Banning" (1967) and "Enemy Country" (1968).
Along with his film work he appeared on such television series as, "Murder, She Wrote", "Matlock", "Knight Rider", "The Fall Guy", "Magnum P.I.", "How the West Was Won", "Quincy, M.E", "CHiPs", "Voyagers", "Police Story", "The Virginian" and "Bonanza" among many others.
In addition he also turned his focus to stage work in the later part of his career and also created the Los Angeles Art Theater and performed in such productions as, "Hamlet" and "Crime and Punishment".  He also worked as an acting coach and taught for two years at the University of California as well as authored text books for actors which were called, Cold Reading Advantage.
He married three times throughout his lifetime.  His first wife was Suzanne Stockwell and together they had two children before the marriage came to an end.  His second wife was a lady by the name of Olga but this marriage was also unsuccessful.  His third and final wife was Sandy and together he had another child with her before again another marriage ended in divorce.
At the age of sixty eight he passed away on February 6th, 2002 in Prescott, Arizona from complications with diabetes.
