GEOFFREY LEWIS BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Geoffrey Lewis was born on July 31st, 1935 in San Diego, California.  He started his childhood in Rhode Island New York but then his family moved back to California when he was ten years old. 
 
He developed an interest in drama from a young age and when he got a little older he participated in summer stock at the Plymouth Theater in Massachusetts.  He then spent some time living in New York City appearing in a number of Off-Broadway stage productions.
 
Later he decided to really focus on a career as an actor and by the early 1970's he was appearing in a number of films such as, "The Culpepper Cattle Co" (1972), "Dillinger" (1973), "High Plains Drifter" (1973) starring Clint Eastwood, "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot" (1974), "Every Which Way But Loose" (1978) starring Clint Eastwood, Sondra Locke, Ruth Gordon and George Chandler, "Any Which Way You Can" (1980) starring Clint Eastwood, "Bronco Billy" (1980) starring Clint astwood and Sondra Locke, "Pink Cadillac" (1989) starring Clint Eastwood and Bernadette Peters and "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" (1997).
 
Along with his many film roles, Lewis also added a variety of television series appearances to his resume such as, "Law & Order", "My Name is Earl", "Matlock", "The Golden Girls", "Gunsmoke", "Maverick", "Nip/Tuck", "Criminal Minds" and "House M.D.".
 
Lewis is also remembered for being the co-founder of the spoken-word performance group, Celestial Navigations along with musician, Geoff Levin.  Most recently he has added such films to his credits as, "Pickin' & Grinnin'" (2010), "Miss Nobody" (2010), "Retreat!" (2012) and "Dark Star Hollow" which is currently still filming.  
 
Geoffrey Lewis has married twice throughout his lifetime, first to Glenis Duggan in 1973 and they had three children before the marriage came to an end in 1975.  He then married his current wife, Paula Hochhalter.
