Gabriel Macht ACTOR

GABRIEL MACHT BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Gabriel Macht was born on January 22nd, 1972 in The Bronx, New York to Suzanne Victoria Pulier and Stephen Macht, who was a well known actor and director. Being born into a family involved in the entertainment industry, he was exposed to acting from a young age and by the age of eight, he was already working as an actor.

When he was a young boy his family relocated to Los Angeles, California and after graduating from Beverly Hills High School in 1990 he went on to train at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.

He is most well known for his role playing the Spirit, in the film, "The Spirit" (2008) and his recurring role on the television series, "Suits" (2011-2012). He first made a name for himself in the industry when he was cast in the film, "Why Would I Lie" (1980) at the age of eight. For this role, he was nominated for the Best Young Motion Picture Actor Award.

Other roles he later added to his resume were on the television series, "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1991), "Spin City" (1995), "Sex and the City" (1998) and "Wasteland" (1999). Along with working as a television actor, he graced such feature films as, "The Object of My Affection" (1998), "Behind Enemy Lines" (2001), "Bad Company" (2002), "The Recruit" (2003), "The Good Shepherd" (2006), "Love and Other Drugs" (2010), "A Bag of Hammers" (2011) and most recently he will appear in, "The Firstling" (2012).

Gabriel Macht has married only once to Jacinda Barrett in 2004 and they have one daughter, Satine Anais Gerladine Macht, and remain together today. He continues to work in the industry and also remains active in theater with the Mad Dog Theater Company in New York.
