EVA GABOR BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Eva Gabor was born on February 11th, 1919 in Budapest, Hungary and became most well known for her role in the television sitcom, "Green Acres" (1965-1971) which lasted a total of a six season run. 
 
Gabor was the last of three daughters born to Vilmos and Jolie Gabor.  Both her sisters, Zsa Zsa and Magda Gabor also pursued careers as actresses. 
 
In the 1930's she arrived in the United States and began working on Broadway and also appearing in a number of films.  Her first real film role was in, "Forced Landing" (1941) with Paramount Pictures.  Soon more film roles followed such as, "The Last Time I Saw Paris" (1954), "Artists and Models" (1955), "My Man Godfrey" (1957), "Gigi" (1958), and "It Started With a Kiss" (1959).
 
Along with her early film success she was also given the opportunity to have her own talk show from 1953 through 1954 called, "The Eva Gabor Show".  Other television appearances she added early on in her career were on such shows as, "Justice" (1954-1955), "Climax" (1956-1957), "Kraft Theatre" (1955-1956), "G.E. True Theater" and "Matinee Theatre" (both 1957-1958).
 
Gabor also did a number of voice over projects for a variety of Disney films such as, "The Aristocrats" portraying the voice of the Duchess, "Nutcracker Fantasy" with the Queen of Time voice and she also voiced, Miss Bianca for both, "The Rescuers" and "The Rescuers Down Under" animated films.   
 
Along with her successful career as an actress she was also a very intelligent business woman.  She marketed wigs, a variety of beauty products and a clothing line which were designed by Luis Estevez who was a Cuban fashion designer.   
 
Eva Gabor married numerous times throughout her life.  Her first husband was in 1939 to Dr. Erich Drimmer and they divorced in 1942.  She then married Charles Isaac in 1943 and this marriage ended in 1949.  Her third marriage was to Dr. John Williams in 1956 but it only lasted one year.  Eva chose to marry for a fourth time to Richard Brown on 1959 and this marriage lasted until 1972.  Her fifth and final husband was Frank Jameson from 1973 to 1983.  She never had any children of her own and on July 4th, 1995 she passed away in Los Angeles, California after suffering from respiratory failure due to complications from food poisoning.  She is interred in the Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in Westwood, California.
