EDDY WALLER BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Eddy Waller was born on June 14th, 1889 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and began his career as a vaudeville performer. He then began finding work as a stage actor and gained a couple years of experience before breaking into the film industry in 1936.
His early roles included, "Meet Nero Wolfe" (1936) starring Edward Arnold, Lionel Stander and Victor Jory, "Banjo on My Knee" (1936) starring Barbara Stanwyck, Joel McCrea, Buddy Ebsen and Walter Brennan, "Secret Agent X-9" (1937) and "Wild and Woolly" (1937) starring Jane Withers, Walter Brennan and Pauline Moore. Now Hollywood was beginning to take notice of his talents and Republic Pictures decided to use him in a couple films, mainly westerns.
One of his most well known character roles was portraying Nugget Clark in such films as, "Renegades of Sonora" (1948) starring Allan 'Rocky' Lane and Roy Barcroft, "Sheriff of Wichita" (1949) starring Allan 'Rocky' Lane, Roy Barcroft, Clayton Moore and Edmund Cobb, "Death Valley Gunfighter" (1949) again starring Allen 'Rocky' Lane.
As his career progressed, majority of film roles he played were un-credited and so he then began to turn his focus towards television appearing on such series as, "Waterfront", "Father Known Best", "The Cisco Kid", "The Lone Ranger", "Broken Arrow", "Code 3", "Wagon Train", "Man Without a Gun", "The Texan", "Pony Express", "Empire", "Bonanza", "Dr. Kildare" and his last acting role was on, "Lassie" (1960-1963).
Eddy Waller was married only once to a woman named Doris and they had no children of their own. On August 20th, 1977 he passed away from a stroke in Los Angeles, California.
