Demi Moore ACTOR

Demi Moore was born on November 11th, 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico with the birth name Demetria Gene Guynes.  Before she was even born, her father abandoned her mother Victoria and her mother re-married.  Her step father was not much better of a father figure and her childhood was quite unstable as her family moved a total of forty times due to her step father constantly changing location for employment.  Her parents also fought constantly and her step father, Danny Gyunes soon committed suicide.
In 1976, she relocated to Los Angeles, California and went to Fairfax High School, but at the age of sixteen, Moore chose to quit school and found work as a pin-up-girl.  She also took training from John Casablanca's and in 1982 she made her film debut in, "Parasite" (1982).

By the age of nineteen she had broken into show business full swing and found work as an actress on the television soap opera, "General Hospital" (1982-1983).
Due to her tough up-bringing, Moore became involved in drug use and when she was working on the film, "St. Elmo's Fire" (1985) she was fired by director, Joel Schumacher.  It was this incident that caused her to clean up her act if she was going to continue pursuing a career in the industry.

Moore had to do a number of publicity stunts to create stardom for herself.  One thing she did while being pregnant was pose nude on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.  After filming, "Ghost" (1990) followed by two more successful feature film roles in, "Indecent Proposal" (1993), "Disclosure" (1994) starring Michael Douglas and Donald Sutherland and other such films as, "A Few Good Men" (1992) starring Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise and "Hunchback of Notre Dame".  Moore has been able to reach the level of stardom she has longed sought after and now is one of Hollywood's most highly paid actresses.
She returned back to public media when she married, Ashton Kutcher, another famous actor, quite younger than herself.  However, the couple remain together today and have started the, "Demi and Ashton Foundation" which is a non-profit organization that is determined to fight child sexual slavery.

In 2006 she returned to the big screen with a role in, "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" and then in 2008 she was also nominated for a golden globe for Best Actress for her role on the television mini series called, "If These Walls Could Talk", which was about abortion.

Besides being married to Kutcher whom she wed in 2005, she was married twice before, her first husband was Freddie Moore from 1980 through 1985.  She then re-married Bruce Willis in 1987 and they had three daughter, Rumor, Scout and Tallulah, before ending their marriage in 2003.
