DARYL HANNAH BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Daryl Hannah was born on December 3rd, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois with the birth name Daryl Christine Hannah.  She grew up in Chicago and after High School, she went on to study at the University of Southern California and earned a degree in theater.
 
She was also an experienced ballet dancer as well as a singer and keyboard player.  She had a knack for the entertainment business and being a beautiful 5'10" blonde helped her get into the industry. 
 
Her film debut was in 1978 in the film, "The Fury".  As her career progressed she starred in such films as, "Hard Country" (1981), "Blade Runner" (1982), "Splash" (1984), "The Clan of the Cave Bear" (1986), "Steel Magnolias" (1989), "Pretty Woman" (1990), "The Last Supper" (1993) which she also wrote, directed and produced.  She also directed and produced a documentary titled, "Strip Notes".  Currently she is still involved in the industry and has two projects scheduled to release in 2011 and 2014 with, "A Fonder Heart" and "Kill Bill: Vol. 3" (2014).
 
Some of her more prominent roles have been in, "Kill Bill", "Dancing at the Blue Iguana", "Speedway Junky" and "Silver City".   
 
In 1995 she was chosen by Empire magazine as, "One of the Sexiest Stars in Film History". Hannah currently resides in Colorado and has never married nor does she have any children of her own.  She is very involved in environmental causes such as supporting environmental activist Tom Weis who supports the project, Ride for Renewable's to promote renewable energy.  She also has solar power on her house and has worked to help end sexual slavery around the world.
