BRITT EKLAND BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Britt Ekland was born on October 6th, 1942 in Stockholm, Sweden with the birth name Britt-Marie Ekland. While living in Sweden she studied drama and later joined a traveling theater company.
Soon she began to enter the film industry filming in Italy. She is most well known for her role in the film, "The Man With the Golden Gun" (1974) starring Roger Moore and Christopher Lee, portraying the 'Bond Girl'.
Some of her other film roles include, "G.I. Blues (1960) starring Elvis Presley and Juliet Prowse, "After the Fox" (1966), "The Bobo" (1967) co-starring her husband Peter Sellers and Rossano Brazzi, "The Night They Raided Minsky's" (1968) starring with Jason Robards, Forrest Tucker, Elliott Gould and Bert Lahr, "Get Carter" (1971) starring Michael Caine, Ian Hendry, John Osborne and Bryan Mosley, "The Wicker Man" (1973) starring Edward Woodward, Christopher Lee, Diane Cilento and Ingrid Pitt, "Fraternity Vacation" (1985) starring Stephen Geoffreys, Tim Robbins and Leigh McCloskey, "Scandal" (1989) starring John Hurt, Joanne Whalley, Bridget Fonda and Ian McKellen and "Beverly Hills Vamp" (1989) co-starring with Eddie Deezen.
Along with film work she has also added a number of television credits to her resume such as, "Superboy", "Loose Women", "Fantasy Island", "McCloud" and "The Love Boat" among others.
Ekland has also worked as a stage actress appearing in such productions as, "Cinderella", "Grumpy Old Woman Live" and "Jack and the Beanstalk". Her last appearances were on the television series, "Bara and Britt" (1992) and "Lexx" (2002). She is now retired from the industry and suffers from osteoporosis.
Britt Ekland has married twice, first to Peter Sellers in 1964 and they had one child before the marriage came to an end in 1968. She then wed Slim Jim Phantom in 1984 and they also had one child before divorcing in 1992. She had a very publicized relationship with musician, Rod Stewart, although the couple never married. She also has another son from a relationship with Lou Adler.
