ASHTON KUTCHER BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Ashton Kutcher was born on February 7th, 1978 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with the birth name Christopher Ashton Kutcher to parents Larry and Diane. He attended Washington High School and then his family relocated to Homestead Iowa where he graduated from Clear Creek Amana High School. He was very involved in playing football throughout high school and was also involved in a number of school productions.
He had a tough home life dealing with his brothers illness and it is rumored that at the age of thirteen he actually considered committing suicide. When his parents divorced at the age of sixteen, things at home got even more difficult for him. He was caught breaking into his high school and was sentenced to three years of probation as well as 180 hours of community service.
Kutcher then decided it was time to clean up his act. He enrolled at the University of Iowa and was pursuing a degree in biochemical engineering. During college a scout for a contest called, "Fresh Faces of Iowa" contacted him and asked him to enter the modeling contest. When he took first place, Kutcher decided to drop out of college after he won a trip to the International Modeling and Talent Association Convention.
It was this whole experience that opened his interest in the entertainment industry and therefore, Kutcher, after spending some time in new York modeling for Calvin Klein and appearing in a Pizza Hut commercial, relocated to Los Angeles, California in pursuit of a career in entertainment.
It did not take long for Kutcher to get his first big role on the television series, "That 70's Show" (1998-2006). It was this role that opened up a number of film roles for him in such features as, "Dude, Where's My Car? " (2000), "Just Married" (2003), "Guess Who" (2005), "Cheaper By the Dozen" (2003) and he took on a challenging role in the film, "The Butterfly Effect" (2004).
Along with creating a successful career as an actor, he also worked on the other side of the industry as a producer on his own series, "Punk'd" (2003). For this show, hidden cameras would play tricks on celebrities. He also serves as executive producer for the television show, "Beauty and the Geek Adventures in Hollywood", "The Real Wedding Crashers" and he produced and starred in the film, "Killers" (2010).
In 2011, after Charlie Sheen was let go from the hit television series, "Two and a Half Men", Ashton Kutcher was chosen as his replacement. He also continues to work on other projects such as advertisements for Nikon Cameras and for a Brazilian fashion company, Colcii advertising Jeans.
Along with a highly successful acting career he has been honored in a number of ways. In 2010, Time Magazine named him in the Top 100 Most Influential People. He is also involved in a number of charities such as creating the Demi and Ashton Foundation which is dedicated to eliminating child sex slavery worldwide.
If his life is not busy enough he is also involved in a number of other business investments such as investing in an Italian Restaurant, Dolce and a Japanese restaurant, Geisha.
Ashton Kutcher has married only once to famous actress, Demi Moore in 2005 and they are together today.
