ANNA MARIA ALBERGHETTI  BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Anna Marie Alberghetti was born on May 15th, 1936 in Pesaro, Italy.  She was born into a family already involved in entertaining, her father was a concertmaster and her mother a professional pianist.  As a young girl she began performing in front of audiences with her vocal talents.
 
Bt the age of fourteen she was performing live on stage at Carnegie Hall and she was widely gaining the attention of the public.  Her family decided to relocate to the United States and Ann Marie was soon working with a number of symphony orchestras.
 
It did not take long for Paramount Studios to take notice of her beauty and talent and therefore she was soon cast in her film debut, "The Medium? (1951).  Soon other roles followed such as, "Here Comes the Groom" (1951), "The Stars Are Singing" (1953), "The Last Command" (1955), "Duel at Apache Wells" (1957), "Ten Thousand Bedrooms" (1957) and "Cinderfella" (1960).
 
As her career progressed she realized her true love was performing live on stage and therefore returned to Broadway.  Some of her stage productions were in, "Rose Marie" (1960), "Carnival", "Fanny" (1963), "West Side Story" (1964), "Kismet" (1967) and "The Fantasticks" (1968).
 
Along with her early film roles and stage roles she has not neglected Hollywood completely.  Anna Marie has made appearances on such shows as, "The Dupont Show of the Month" (1958), "The Jerry Lewis Show" (1963) and the films "Friends and Family" and "The Whole Shebang" (2001).
 
She has also recorded a number of soundtracks for, "Here Comes the Groom" (1951), "The Eddie Fisher Show" (1958), "The Ed Sullivan Show" (1961) and for the "Dean Martin: The One and Only" documentary in 2004 she recorded the song, "You I Love".
 
Anna Marie married only once to Claudio Guzman in 1964 and they had two children together and remained married until 1974.  For the most part she has chosen to stay out of the limelight and focus on raising her children.  However, on occasion she does return to perform on the stage.
